Have you seen this?

I thought I had problems...it reminds me of a real life "Home Alone"...

Headline reads:

Couple told mid-flight they'd left child behind
Israelis remember duty-free and luggage, but forget 3-year-old at airport

Go read the link- maybe I'm just hormonal right now, but it made me cry.

I can't BEGIN to tell you how busy that airport is - and the Duty Free area? ENORMOUS!

I don't have strong enough words to say how disappointing this is... how G.D. disgusting... makes me want to throw up.

that's crazy...I can see leaving without a teenager (on purpose! just kidding, but they're usually responsible for themselves) but a three year old??? and then let's blame each other for who was supposed to be watching her....nice

That is always my biggest fear, leaving someone behind. Actually, it's gaining an extra one, but I do fear leaving someone.

I read about this- I CAN'T IMAGINE how a parent could forget their child (but then again I'm not a parent so I can't talk...)

oh well at least the kid will always have in their favour the guilt card to play...Remember that time you left me in the airport?!!!...should settle most disagreements LOL

I can totally see how this could happen. In fact, this is another reason I have only two kids!

Also, I have a couple of sets of friends with large families. They frequently work on the "buddy" system of having kids watch each other...even at home.

All it would take to lose one in a busy airport is one kid being confused on who their buddy is. Seems easy to happen in busy, unfamiliar situations.

I heard about that. Perhaps it's an indication of how much the parents needed a vacation, LOL. But ... I dunno, you'd think they would have noticed when they sat all the kids in their seats on the plane. Kinda odd.

It's sad for the little girl. Parents who don't have their priorities straight.
