Calgon, take me away!

I started training for my new job today. That combined with back to school activities, soccer, volleyball, fall baseball, and band, I'm quite certain that my head is going to explode by tomorrow! Something's gotta give, and since I'm usually the last priority in the house, like most moms, I'm afraid it might be the job. I think I will enjoy it, the people are nice and doesn't seem stressful at all, I just hate to let people down and my schedule, right now, is so overloaded, I'm afraid that's what will happen!

So, in an effort to avoid and deny my reality, I will show you more relaxing pics of 'the farm'...

That's a real dinner bell!

It's all so pictureseque, but this is my reality... trying to take a picture of all the kids in front of the cows...

Well, two of the kids escaped the picture completely. Murphy was damn close to being pulsated by the electrical fence as my son swooped him up. My 7 year old is biting her nails- LIKE ALWAYS, however, she had just been handling worms and fish- YUM! My nephew decided to take a drink right as I was snapping the picture and, of course, Beebs turned her back to the camera to dig the swimsuit out of her ass. AND, for you smart asses out there, if you look closely, you can see the red roof of the dock in the middle right. The cow pasture is the pathway to the lake- that's why she was wearing a life jacket near the cow dung- and SAFETY FIRST FOLKS!!!

Stay tuned for the next installment of crappy pictures from the farm!

I like the pictures, the kids look so happy, like they are having a ball. Very cool.
The dinner bell is also a nice touch. Do the kids argue over who rings it?

I hope your immersion back into real life, with a new job isn't too tough. Take care of yourself and make some mommy time (Don't laugh at me).

See...next year take me, and we can laugh wildly at the kids digging swimsuits out of their cracks and smelling cow pies...The pictures are great.
I miss having a job...I had a blast when I worked at Target, but my kids were not in school yet, Now, I'm not sure I want to give my "free" school time to someone else for minimum wage...

Is that a mailbox on that dock?

How observant! Yes, I guess it's just second nature- that is a mailbox on the dock- that's where we keep all of the fishing supplies- I have no idea why!

The pics are great and I understand the "overloaded" schedule...with my beans attending 3 diferent schools, then after school activities, taking care of my Daddy,homework,cooking,cleaning...I am thinking a JOB sounds like a vacation!

Did you sing the "Green Acres" theme song the entire time you were there?

I am so anticipating great 'boob measuring' stories once you finish training!!

Hey Beebs knows she's gotta be comfy. And is that a mail collection box on the dock? Do they get a mailman who drives a boat?

Ya know... the photos of the kids are exactly like mine. Nobody ever looks - and my youngest usually has a finger in her mouth - or in her nose. I always need a cocktail afterwards...

Great shots! Sounds like you're back into the swing of things!
