Picture This!

Thanks for all the kind words on my last post. It happened a long time ago and not something I dwell on, but has always been something I've wanted to put on paper, I just never got around to it. I drafted that at 4:30AM after a related dream and since blog fodder has been at a premium as of late, I thought I'd bum everyone out!

I'm pushing all limits of hygiene, presentability and simple human decency lately! I am a rebel. Bras have become too restrictive in my rebellion (let me tell you, not a pretty sight for a 36D). On the bright side, my fleece pants have not been letting me down.

When I must leave the house (damn needy kids need to be brought and picked up from school-GEEZ!), the Crocs are my footwear of choice- 20 degrees- and not the cool wooly warm Crocs- nope- the waterproof type Crocs with holes in them with socks- good lookin'!

A hat and scarf are my BEST FRIENDS right now! The hat covers my fly-away, cowlick, nightmarish hair and the scarf covers the huge zit on my neck that is reminiscent of the knob on the side of Frankenstein's neck! I've even been seen wearing them in the house!

If I were tagged with that "take a picture of you right now and post it" meme, I'm quite certain that Oprah's producer's would be at my door within a week wanting to film an intervention for big fat losers encouraging me to live my best fucking life or something.

The way I look at it, the dishwasher, wash machine, and dryer are all running, I've have a jello fruit salad hardening in the fridge, a pot roast in a crock pot, my kids all ate breakfast, and got to school on time- I'm a fucking rock star!!!

I guess what I'm saying is, although I realize I am a colossal loser at this point and really should be wearing supportive under garments, eating something other than chocolate frosted donuts and coffee and getting back into my work out regime, I'm just not ready! Baby steps, people!

I'm telling you, it's the post Holiday non support garmet times, and I'm wholeheartedly embracing them. If Oprah showed up on my doorstep right now, I'd probably tell her to Ef Off.

My tree is down, I have a new post up. What else do you want!?

Now, pass the donuts.

Oh yea, I drove my child to an after school playdate the other day and wore my PJ's and slippers. Did you get the after school part? It was 4:00 in the afternoon and I had on my PJ's and slippers! We should go out together - we'd look great.

You ARE a rock star. And I write this as I am sitting in my sweats and a tank with a "shelf-bra", not the most supportive choice for a nursing mother. However, my washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are all running right now also. You've got me on the jello salad though. Rock on, girl!!

Your last paragraph is a load of cobblers - who needs supportive undergarments? And frankly, healthy eating is vastly over-rated in my book. You just take your time and get yourself out of your fleece when you're good and ready. I don't care what you look like!

Just in case you get tired of the fleece, pass them my way....

I don't have a jello mold in the fridge but I do have some black eyed peas from new year's waiting to be tossed.

If Oprah comes to my door, hope she's got a huge check in her hand.

I measured at a 36 DOUBLE D on Sunday and practically shit myself! Needless to say, I did NOT make a purchase that day; just went home and ate some more chocolate.

I'm not ready neither... too bad I can't go to school in my pj's. Period's over, so I'm back down to a D and thinking positively :)

After reading your more recent posts, I'm sensing some snap back in your step lady! What a Tena post - reminds me of the first time I have ever happened on your blog not that long ago. Right on!!

Crocs?? Love 'em and live in 'em too! I keep thinking I need to wear "grown-up" shoes but I love these things!!

Lazy sloths unite!! Somedays I don't even get out of my jammies. I'm lucky though, I have no kids to tote back and forth. Of course the hubby gets irritated when he can tell I haven't moved from the same spot he left me in that morning when he went to work.
