New friends with good taste

I love meeting new people out here in the blogosphere. I have met some of the most awesome people and they just keep coming! Amelia Bedelia (my all- time favorite books when I was a kid, by the way!!!) and her sister, Jill jill bo bill are two funny gals that I have recently crossed paths with. They've been leaving me comment love and, as is my customary repertoire, I visited their sites and caught up on their archives.

I particularly felt right at home at Amy's place:

Maybe this had something to do with it (this is my living room):

Uncanny, don't ya think?

OMG that is so twilight zone-ish. Now I want to find a blogger that has toys strewn about on a old stained couch as their backdrop.

Do kids even live at your house? *sigh*

I actually love you more! Thanks so much for the kudos. Amelia of course, got first choice. She also probably was doing the peeping tom thing she is so notorious for. Man, what she won't do for popularity..........

Wow. That is really unusual. Btw- love the website and the living room. Given the fact that my house is chronically under construction by hubby, I'm sure I can find a friend in the same predicament.

Is the dog allowed in that room?

Hey Girl! Twitter is fun- it's just like one or 2 lines whenver you feel like telling people what you're doing right then or what ur thinking. I keep Twitter.com on my favorites bar and just check in a few times a day to see what my friends are up to. Your own tweets show up on your blog and people may chose to "follow "you.

I told ya'll I was a freak... yes, my house always looks like that- yes kids live here- they are well trained because they know I'm nuts- no, the dog TOTALLY NOT allowed anywhere but the kitchen and basement. I'm hoping to train him like the kids, if not- he may be out on his ass! What do you think about this comment thing- does it make any difference- not much, but what the hell!

I love, love, love that couch!! That shade of green is one of my all time favorite colors!

And I do think the resemblance to your couch to Amy's blog is indeed uncanny!

Love the embedded comment! Now if the rest of the blogosphere would do it! :)

oh my gosh that's almost spooky ~ you all were destined or karma'd or w/e ~ the couch/blog colors are very pretty. Color-Coordinated blogging, now that's something we should aspire to, huh? Imagine the possibilities!

Fantastic photos! Thank god no blogs look like my front room - there wouldn't be enough pixels to cope with the carnage.
