If you give a mouse a cookie or something like that...

If your Secret Santa gives you a black poncho, you may feel obligated to take a picture of that poncho to post on your blog. Since pictures don't do ponchos justice unless on a person, you may be faced with the reality that you haven't showered in a couple days and you and your greasy hair have no business in a picture with the lovely poncho.

you may also be very troubled by how people take pictures in mirrors, obviously, I have no idea what I'm doing!

If you take that much needed shower, you may notice that your bathroom needs cleaning. After you've cleaned your bathroom you will feel obligated to clean the rest of the house since you are hosting a neighborhood meeting tonight. If you try to clean the house, you may find that you are out of floor cleaner and need to go to the store.

If you put on the poncho to go to the store, you may realize you need a new hat, scarf and gloves to match the poncho. If you want your kids to behave while you are at Target, you may bribe them with renting WALL-E- if they behave. If you rent them WALL-E, you may rent yourself Step Brothers. If you go to Target for floor cleaner, you may forget that and only buy a hat, gloves, and a scarf and some new clothes.

If your Secret Santa gives you an ornament of a snowman holding a cactus, you will put that ornament on the tree.

If you put that ornament on the tree, you may feel guilty that you never put your outside lights up. Since you are now in the Christmas spirit, you decide to put the Christmas lights up outside- finally- as lame as they may be since you may be afraid of heights!

If you put up the outside lights when it is 25 degrees outside, when you get inside you will want to wear your new comfy socks that your Secret Santa got you.

If you get comfortable in your socks, while the kids watch WALL-E, you may waste 2 hours of your life by watching Step Brothers- 2 hours that you will NEVER get back.

If your Secret Santa gives you a card that reads, "You are the hardest person to buy for an SSS. You're lucky I love you", you may get very compulsive and spend time searching all over every blog you've ever read to find who that person might be and if they are indeed from Texas.

Ok - seriously, the first picture blinded ME.
You got the second one better though.

That is the cutest poncho!! Love it! The ornament - adorable. And the socks!!! I have a cold feet issue and those would be worn out before the holiday was over.
No really, cold feet so bad the hubby has been known to jump the hell out of the bed until I put some socks on. Socks are my friends. (as well as vodka and tequila - just sayin)

Your SS rocks! Those are great gifts!

Very clever post :) I love the hat and scarf! I tend to do the same thing while in Tar-jay. If I don't go with a list, I walk out with a cart full of stuff I never intended to buy.

Your poncho and accessories make a lovely ensemble - very cool. Its funny how making one decision can 'snowball' into a lot more decisions.

I love your hat & scarf. And Stepbrothers is an awesome movie- I think Will Ferrell is hilarious anyway though.

Those socks are definately going in "the box". I'm sure they'll be comfy on MY feet. LOL

And you look so cute in your hat and scarf.

Oh and you didn't like Stepbrothers? *gasp* I LOVED it.

Tena we might have some issues when we move in the box. I don't know if we're compatible.

Loved this post; very cute. What does one do if one's SS forgot them? :( I'm giving up after today, I think.

Only a select few can find success as a glamorous poncho model.

I think there's a law somewhere that says you're not allowed to leave Target until you spend at least $100 at a time.

You're too cute!
